THE ECO-KITCHEN
Updated: Apr 4, 2020
The modern kitchen is toxic and clean, with no food in it... The Eco-Kitchen on the other hand is a place where life resides.
Sprouts growing in a jar, Kombucha or Kefir, sourdough starter fermenting away. Bowls of fruit and fresh produce on display, fresh herbs in a vase....Lovely smell of fresh bread fills the house.... No packaging, no ready TV-meals.
The pantry has glass jars with beans, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole-grains.
The Eco-Kitchen is cleaned with vinegar and baking soda, or cleaners that are safe for us and the planet.
Fresh produce can be kept in a dark cool pantry, hopefully you are eating Organically grown fruit and vegetables, the non-organic produce can be washed with a little vinegar in water.
Beans soaked over night and cooked well the next day, can be then kept in the fridge and used in multiple dishes - pasta, Mexican wraps, salads or in patties.
Are you ready to make your kitchen an Eco-Kitchen?
