Creamy Chia Porridge with Kiwifruit & Banana


Makes 2 Servings

A no cook soaked porridge, with chia seeds which are a great aid for good digestion.

Ingredients:

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 cup Chia seeds

1/4 cup Rolled oats

2 Banana

2 Kiwifruit

2 cups Unsweetened soy / nut / rice milk

2 tsp Maple syrup

Method:

  1. Mix the milk, cinnamon, chia seeds and oats in a bowl

  2. Let it sit, covered, overnight or for a couple hours in the fridge

  3. When ready to eat, peel the banana and chop in half

  4. Mash one half and mix it in with the porridge, slice the other half for a topping

  5. Wash the kiwifruit, you may peel the skin off with a sharp knife and slice, or keep the skin on and slice, remove the tough bits on either end

  6. Serve the porridge with the bananas and kiwi and drizzle optional maple syrup on top
